The Billecart family has been living in Mareuil-sur-Ay since the 16th century. When Nicolas Francois Billecart married Elisabeth Salmon in the early 1800s the two families’ long held vineyards were married as well. This led to Nicolas’ decision to leave his law practice and take over the family wine estate. In 1818 he founded the house of Billecart-Salmon which now stands as the oldest continuously family owned and operated house in Champagne.

Appearance: Its pale and bright pink colour is adorned with warm glints of gold and its delicate slowly rising bubbles give it a persistent mousse. Aroma: This cuvée unveils a subtle aroma leading to an elegant, delicate bouquet of fine notes of red fruits and zest of citrus fruits. Palate: Its special method of vinification gives this cuvée a light, elegant flavour, followed by a fresh finish with a taste of raspberry.

This rosé champagne is an ideal partner as an aperitif and can also accompany a dish of wild salmon or sushi. For dessert, it will add a sublime touch to red fruit flavours.

To the eye: A golden colour, distinctive of black grape varieties; very ne bubbles. To the nose: A beautiful aromatic complexity; ripe fruit and spicy aromas; hints of roasted apples, apple compote and peaches. On the palate: A subtle combination of structure, length and vivacity; bubbles like velvet; pear, brioche and spicy aromas, notes of fresh walnut.

Dom Pérignon (1638–1715) was a monk and cellar master at the Benedictine abbey in Hautvillers. He pioneered a number of winemaking techniques around 1670—being the first to blend grapes in such a way as to improve the quality of wines, balance one element with another in order to make a better whole, and deal with a number of their imperfections; perfecting the art of producing clear white wines from black grapes by clever manipulation of the presses.

After the upheavals of the early 1900s, particularly the First World War that destroyed more than half of the Louis Roederer estate, Léon Olry Roederer reconstructed the vineyards. He decided to buy grapes to ensure the continuity of the House during this difficult period and, at the same time, created a multi-vintage wine that would have a consistent flavour, whatever the harvest year. It is now called Brut Premier.

Striking a perfect balance between youthfulness and maturity, seduction and character, freshness and vinosity, Brut Premier is a champagne that is harmonious and structured, elegant and lively, with a unique exuberance. Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is produced from a blend of 100% premiers crus Chardonnay grapes from the best of recent vintages. Grapes from the estate vineyards in Sillery and Brimont (ancestral home of the Ruinart family) are joined by carefully selected grapes from other premiers crus vineyards in the Côte de Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.

Born in Beaujolais, Jean-François Coquard represents the 13th generation of winemakers. After the master’s degree in Oenology at the prestigious University of Bourgogne and after a long internship at the Hospices de Beaune he moved to Italy in the Oltrepò Pavese in the Mazzolino Estate. Through his Burgundian sensibility, in the 15 years in which he managed all the oenological part, he gave birth to fine and elegant wines exalting to the maximum the “terroir” of this Lombard area. In 2014 he realized his dream of having his own company and returned to Chessy, in the south of the Beaujolais, giving life to JFC Vins where since the first harvest his wines stand out for their finesse and elegance, placing them among the rising stars of the appellation.

The juicy green apple fruit, fine citrus notes and a hint of pineapple make the enjoyment of this single-layer Prosecco so appealing, while the fine spice and the subtle salt note give it additional elegance and harmony. An ideal accompaniment to light starters and fish. Only grapes of the Glera grape variety are used for this sparkling wine, which come from the clay and limestone soils with a sedimentary structure from the Cuc site and are harvested by hand.

The Bodegas Salentein estate, located in the Uco Valley near Mendoza in Argentina, is one of the most renowned wineries in South America. Both the building itself with its underground cellar in the shape of a cross and the range of wines offered by the winery are impressive. The Salentein Barrel Selection Chardonnay is a pure varietal Chardonnay that matured for 6 months in American oak casks before it was bottled. It is a straw yellow in the glass. The wonderfully rich bouquet offers aromas of pears, apples, cloves, lime blossoms and tropical fruit such as honeydew melon and limes. On the palate, the wine is soft and ingratiatingly full-bodied, with a lovely melt. The subtle hints of tropical fruit are underpinned by discreet notes of oak. The opulent Chardonnay is well-balanced, showing a lovely acidity. Its long finish is soft, elegant and silky. We recommend enjoying the Salentein Barrel Selection Chardonnay on its own as an aperitif but also to accompany a good meal. It goes perfectly with crustaceans, salmon, pasta, poultry, veal and young cheeses.

Poggio alle Gazze dell’Ornellaia, owes its elegant Mediterranean style to the Estate’s unique microclimate. This gift of nature allows Poggio alle Gazze dell’Ornellaia, with its predominance of Sauvignon Blanc, to display a firm structure and ripe fruit while maintaining great finesse.

It is a wine full of freshness with an intense straw yellow colour. On the nose it expresses intense and refined notes of mature citrus fruit, exotic fruit and white flowers. On the palate it is fleshy and juicy with a vibrant, crystalline fruitiness which perfectly reflects the sunny, but not excessively hot year. The long lingering fruity finish leaves the palate clean and fresh.

Bodegas Callia is situated in the Tulum Valley in Argentina’s province of San Juan. It is nestled between the Pie de Palo hills to the north and the Cerro Chico Del Zonsa to the south. The winery’s goal is to produce the best wines in San Juan and the best Shiraz in Argentina. Along with creating quality wines, they continue to respect and support the people, nature and community from which their wines are created.

Intensely yellow with steel-like and greenish tints. The bouquet is reminiscent of white flowers such as jasmine and linden, combined with ripe peach. Aromas are repeated delicately and elegantly on the palate.

The copper shade of the wine is the result of maceration on the skins. The aroma of the wine is intense, generous and complex, with floral tones of wild rose and agate, which complement the aroma of tropical fruits and apricots and pungent hints of dried autumn leaves. The taste is impressively voluminous and deep, elegant and balanced. The long finale is dominated by yellow peach and ripe apricot.

A bold and aromatic white blend from Salta in the North of Argentina.

Amalaya’s vineyards are in the Calchaquí Valley which is the highest wine region in the world, and one of the most remote. Torrontés, Argentina’s leading white grape, makes up around 85% of this blend with the remainder being Riesling. Together they provide brilliantly intense peach, elderflower, lychee and rosewater aromas that lead on to a soft, rich and flavoursome palate freshened up by clean, mouth watering acidity. And while delicate and silky in the mouth it rounds off with a flinty mineral edge and long fruit filled finish.

Racy, fresh and nicely structured it’s just the thing to have with seafood dishes like seared squid.

The vines for the Nik Weis Sankt Urbans-Hof Riesling “Wiltinger Alte Reben” fine dry ripen at the Wiltinger Schlangengraben directly on the Saar. The 100% south orientation brings a long duration of sunshine and thus a wonderfully pronounced ripening and aroma of the grapes. The result is a lively cabinet with a slightly reddish shimmering Devonian slate floor. This Riesling has a spicy, herbal bouquet , is very lively, pleasantly light, delicately flowery and playful with beautiful gooseberry and citrus fruit.

The “Rossj Bass” by Gaja is an extremely charming wine, fruity and soft on the right spot. Leader of Italy’s wine, Gaja is now a winery in Piedmont has only about 100 hectares of vineyards, all well-controlled and capable of giving us the unique wines from year to year. The Rossj Bass is made entirely from Chardonnay grapes grown in different vineyards, including the vineyard Rossj which Lucia and Angelo Gaja dedicated to Rossana, their second child. A successful, what the winery, built with intelligence and insight, developed and consolidated in recent decades by the formidable guidance of Angelo, who has capitalized on a unique area like that of the Langhe, where the territory and the exposure of the latter are extraordinarily suited to the cultivation of the vine; territory not only capable of producing great wines from native varieties, but can also deliver top quality wines from non-traditional varieties. Rossj Bass is one of these: a unique wine, elegant and refined, just like Gaja is able to produce.

For many years, Juan Cuneo Solari, the son of an Italian immigrant, dreamed of having his own vineyards to produce the best quality wines. In 1993, he finally founded his winery in the Casablanca Valley, Casas del Bosque. He was one of the first to use the area for this purpose. Since then, the valley has seen a boom in popularity, and Casas del Bosque has become one of the few family wineries of the valley. The great forests of ancient pine and olive plants and the small, abandoned white adobe houses were the key factors in determining the location of the vineyard and the manor house, giving it the name Casas del Bosque, or “Houses of the Forest.” The philosophy of Casas del Bosque is based on the constant search for excellence. In our terroir we combine the optimum conditions of soil, climate, and management to develop wines with character and a unique seal. Our commitment to the environment is part of our philosophy. Simply put, we concentrate on getting “QUALITY INSTEAD OF QUANTITY.” It is not in our interest to produce huge volumes, but solely the best wines.

Pale straw in colour. The bouquet shows intense notes of key lime, guava and sea salt dominate with just a hint of white pepper. The palate has bright flavours of ginger and citrus zest give way to a tight mineral backbone and fresh acidity.

Bright, focused citrus aromatics of grapefruit and kaffir lime abound, supported by subtle tropical notes. A silky, concentrated palate reveals ripe, juicy stone fruit and lemongrass, supported by a subtle minerality. Its racy acidity leads toward a mouth-watering, persistent finish, suggesting a sauvignon blanc with ageability.

This wine will complement fish, poultry, white meats and cured meats.

The Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte Grand Cru blanc from the Bordeaux wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in bright copper gold. This wine also shows golden-yellow reflections in the core. If you give it some air by swirling, you can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, because it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. The bouquet of this white wine from Bordeaux enchants with hints of vineyard peach, apricot, peach and pear.just its fruity nature makes this wine so special.

This French wine presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine enthusiast. This white wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine icon wine segment. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully light and velvety. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally inspires with beautiful length. Once again, hints of plum and black cherry appear.

This wine is obtained from sauvignon and Chardonnay grapes, with a little added Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana and Picolit and comes form an small vineyard of about three hectares in Ronco del Fortino. The vineyard is cultivated using a traditional system called “cappuccina” with four to five buds per vine and with 4,500 vines per hectare. The first trials with this type of grape date back to the 1973 harvest and the first wine to be put on the market under this name and with this label was the result of the 1975 harvest. This type of grape is harvested quite late in the year, almost two weeks after the normal harvest. Only the best grapes are chosen with a yield of 35 – 45 hundred kilos per hectare. The name “Tunina” refers to the old owner of the land where the vineyard is situated, but there is also a dedication to Antonia (hence Tunina) who was one of Casanova’s lovers. The wine has a brilliant straw-yellow colour with a golden sheen. The aroma is strong, full and very elegant and long-lasting with a hint of honey and meadow flowers. It has a dry, mellow taste that is very well-balanced and exceptionally long-lasting, due to the particularly well-bodied nature of the wine.

Terroir Selection Malbec is made from a blend of five vineyards in Lujan de Cujo and Valle de Uco, each bringing different characteristics to the wine. Lujan de Cujo contributes elements of ripe, mouth filling fruit that is very long on the palate, while Valle de Uco supplies strength and young, primary fruit aromas and roundness in the mouth. Terroir Selection Malbec is aged in French oak barrels (new, one- and two-year old) for 12 months and in bottle for 6 months.

The origin of this wine is the Rupestre Vineyard, in a mountain range formation contemporary to the Pre-Cordillera, located in Salta, in the North West of Argentina. Planted at 7800 feet of altitude, and tended with loving care by the Domingo brothers, it is located halfway between Cafayate and Molinos. The soil formation is older than the soils in the Andes: built up by volcanic basalt, granite and sand, with fantastic drainage. The result is a distinctive Malbec, fresh and full of fruit, with a wild feeling to it and mineral notes that make it a clearly typical wine from Salta.

he Loreto vineyard is located on the west side of the Geographical Mention “Ovello”, in the heart of the historic area of Barbaresco. Vinified separately for the first time in the 1980’s tells another story of Barbaresco, first a wine full of harmony accompanied by intensity, structure and warmth.

A Barolo dedicated to Armando Parusso, founder of the estate, produced by blending all the prestigious Nebbiolo grapes coming from the Cru vineyards of Mariondino, Mosconi and Bussia. The wine will be available in March in the UK

Domaine Vincent Girardin is best known for their ageworthy white wines, but this delightful red should not be over-looked. The Savigny-les-Beaune from old, low yielding wines produces a savoury, complex red with a delicate spicy finish.

Cabernet Franc Fin Single Vineyard comes from a plot among our vineyards specially chosen for the full expression of its varietal characteristics.

The FIN Single Vineyards varietal line has been made with grapes from unique plots in a search for the maximum expression of the terroir. Elaborated in a way to rescue those characteristics that the Patagonian climate and soils contribute to make the region’s wines unmistakable while at the same time exalting the virtues of the variety itself.

A lively red color is the first clue that the wine before us is very fresh. Its aromatic potency is very well harmonized with its complexity. There’s a predominance of red berries, jam, blackcurrant liqueur (creme de cassis), and a juicy sensation of crushed strawberries. Eight months in contact with French oak lend it a certain degree of seriousness, along with a bit of vanilla, smoke, cigar box, and sweet spices. Good balance on the palate with properly rounded tannins that enable this Cabernet Sauvignon to linger long on the palate.

Highly recommended with braised beef with French fries, steak and eggs, paella, cannelloni, and lasagna.

From its deep ruby and violet hue to its enticing fruit-forward aromas of blackberry, currant and black cherry, this wine showcases a great Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, the lush fruit is balanced by smooth, rich tannins and lovely layers of spice, cocoa and hints of sweet and toasty French oak.

Wine Enthusiast – “Made for broad release, this wine impresses for its rounded, approachable layers of dried herb and anise, the tannin and oak lightly applied. Blended with 10% Merlot, it finds a jolt of richness on the finish, a showcase for notions of chocolate, cherry and blackberry.”

Deep red with a garnet hue. Aromas reminiscent of black cherries, plums and dry leaves with a hint of green bell pepper are complemented with tertiary notes of chocolate and spice. This Carmenère is soft and plump, with supple tannins and good length. A perfect match with Peruvian “seco de cordero,” or other lamb dishes such as minced lamb kebabs with “salsa verde”, mint or coriander. Smoky bacon, peppers, zucchini and eggplant too. Fresh chilies, as used in Mexican or even certain types of Thai food.

The Catena wines are a special assemblage of High Mountain Estate Vineyards made by fourth generation vintner, Laura Catena and chief winemaker, Alejandro Vigil. Although we have found that most of the Catena wines are consumed shortly after release, we are pleased to see that they age beautifully for ten to twenty years. Through decades of study and exploration within Mendoza’s high altitude mountain terroirs, the Catena family has identified special locations for its Estate vineyards. From the marriage of these historic vineyards emerges a wine of unique character that has natural balance, concentration and a distinct varietal identity.

The Catena Cabernet Sauvignon shows a dark ruby color with violet tones. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of ripe raspberries, and cassis with notes of pepper and clove. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich and displays layers of black currant and black raspberry with notes of cedar, tobacco and leather. This Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant wine with silky tannins that provide structure and a long and persistent finish. Pair this Cabernet with red meats like steak or lamb, demi-glace sauces, or with Chateaubriand for an elegant and special dinner.

This shows a beautiful red fruit core and an almost liqueur-like richness. On the palate it is beautifully fresh, with an excellent weight on the juicy mid-palate, and a hint of garrigue herbs to lift the aromatics; the balance and poise are excellent. The crop is completely destemmed and the wine is aged in foudres for 18-24 months making for a classy Châteauneuf.

The Collazzi Chianti Classico I Bastioni marries the elegance and pleasantness of Sangiovese, with the roundness and complexity of small parts of Merlot and Malvasia Nera: succulent wine, it has ripe tannins that give it complexity and character.

Bright ruby colour with garnet reflections. Notes of black cherry compote in which blend a small red berries and spices. In the mouth the Collazzi Chianti Classico I Bastioni is savory, complex with a tannic structure, soft and captivating. From the long end it marries beautifully with the pleasures of the table.

Intensely ruby red in color with purple highlights, the 2013 Tignanello shows an intense nose of ripe red fruit in addition to notes of vanilla, chocolate, and leather imparted from the oak. Spicy and balsamic sensations give additional complexity in the layers of aromatics. The wine is ample and enveloping on the palate with supple tannins and a savory freshness that fully respects the character and personality of the Sangiovese grape. The balance between acidity and tannins is excellent and the finish and aftertaste are of a lovely length and persistence.

The Banfi Castle is located between the Orcia and Ombrone rivers, the Banfi estate extends on the southern slope of the municipality of Montalcino with its 2,830 hectares of property, one third of which is cultivated with specialized vineyards. In addition to Sangiovese and Moscadello, the two ancient and traditional vines of the area, there are the main international noble vines that have perfectly integrated into this exceptional habitat.
Its soil composed of clay and calcium favors the optimal growth of the vine and the complexity of red wines, while the richness in skeleton completes the aromatic profile of our whites giving them the typical mineral scents.
On these lands we have conducted, for over thirty years, clonal selection studies on the main red varieties, in particular Sangiovese. The important results of these studies are now documented and recorded and available to the entire community of producers.

Tenuta San Guido release their second wine Guidalberto a year before Sassicaia. The name Guidalberto, introduced in 2000, was inspired by the current proprietor’s great great great grandfather Guidalberto della Gheradesca. The wine was created for two reasons; the Estates desire to accomplish something with Merlot (a grape that they do not use in Sassicaia) and to create a wine which could be enjoyed younger than their ‘veteran Sassicaia’.

The Haiku del Castello di Ama is an elegant and complex Tuscan red wine, which comes from a blend of Sangiovese, supplemented by two noble Bordeaux grape varieties, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The two French grapes have settled very well in the lands of Chianti, producing very interesting and high quality wines. The long period of ageing in barriques recalls the tradition of Bordeaux reds and gives a wine with a particularly harmonious, velvety and balanced profile. The classic varietal notes of small berries are complemented by evolved hints of underbrush, spices and woody nuances. It is a fine bottle, to be tasted with second courses of red meat, roasts, grilled meat or game.

Château Teyssier is a Saint Emilion Grand Cru situated in the heart of the Saint Emilion Appellation. The Estate is steeped in history that dates back to the 1700’s, but by the time that Jonathan and Lyn Maltus arrived at the Estate in 1994, the vineyard consisted of five and a half hectares in the commune of Vignonet on the plain of Saint Emilion.

The wine has a deep and intense red color with violet edges. The nose has an intense fruit expression with black fruit such as blackberry and cassis well mixed with red fruit such as cherry and plums. Slightly spiced with anise and cedar notes. Delicate fresh violets fragrance. In the mouth, the wine has a big structure and good volume, balance with a remarkable acidity

“A marvellous summer and a cool, sunny September made it possible to achieve perfect maturation of the grapes despite the difficult flowering period, with wines that express a particularly elegant side. Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia 2013 has an intense, bright colour. The nose is vibrant and fruity underscored by delicate toasty notes. On the palate, the smooth, silky texture contrasts with tannins of great freshness. Whilst its structure will enable it to mellow with age, the crispness of the fruit and its soft, fine character make it perfect to enjoy straight away.”

The 2014 vintage was the most challenging in memory, but has nevertheless enabled us to produce high quality wines that give immense pleasure. The late ripening of the grapes have made it possible to express the crispness and freshness of the fruit to best effect. What is striking is the high quality of the tannins on the palate: silky, refined and without any sharp edges, albeit with a lower density than in hotter vintages. Le Volte dell’Ornellaia is a balanced, harmonious and very drinkable wine thanks in particular to the beautiful Merlots of 2014.

Deep red-purple coloured wine, very intense nose with notes of ripe blackberry, blueberry and redcurrant, with subtle hints of violet. The silky palate has a crisp, balancing acidity which shows the fruit and floral notes backed by vanilla on the lingering finish. Barrel-aged for about a year in a mixture of new and seasoned French oak barrels prior to bottling.

The textbook definition of Malbec. Bright ruby red in color, this wine is fresh and floral, featuring blackberry, raspberry, and violets on the nose and palate. The wine is dense and thick with a noticeable minerality, silky tannins mark a lengthy finish. Low yields, careful vineyard management, and low intervention winemaking are the hallmark of this and all other Achaval-Ferrer wines.

The Amalaya Malbec Tinto by Bodega Colomé presents itself in dark red and with purple reflections in the glass. The nose captivates with great fruity elegance. Notes of blackcurrants, plums, some blackberry and other dark berries (elderberries come to mind) determine the first impression.

On the palate, the Amalaya Tinto by Colomé is no less convincing. It is fruity and spicy, with good structure, juice and round, ripe tannins. In the finish a lot of fruit, a vital, well-integrated fruit acid and again an exciting spice. Amalaya – meaning “waiting for a miracle” in the language of the indigenous people of the Cafayate Valley – is exactly what Donald Hess hoped for when he founded his winery in this very high, barren and inhospitable region.

The Barrel Selection Merlot by Bodegas Salentein is presented in the glass in a strong and dark crimson and with a multi-layered bouquet. This reveals the aromas of plums, dark wild berries, peppers, vanilla and a hint of tobacco.

This Argentinian red wine is soft, full-bodied and extremely intense on the palate. This Merlot seduces with its wonderful structure, its ripe and sweet tannins and the long-lasting, strong finish.

The Montepulciano d ‘Abruzzo by Tenuta Ulisse is presented in the glass in an intense ruby red, which is interspersed with garnet red reflections. It unfolds a complex and complex bouquet with intense and fruity aromas of red berries such as blackberries and blueberries, complemented by hints of black cherry. These notes are accompanied by subtly floral notes and nuances of caramel and dark chocolate.

On the palate, this balanced red wine from Abruzzo is juicy and soft. The Tenuta Ulisse Montepulciano is rich in body but not too heavy and impresses with its well-balanced acidity and a great structure.

The 2013 Opus One offers splendid aromas of blueberry, cassis, and blackberries with highlights of rose, anise and baking spices. A creamy entry gives way to layers of complexity which unfold in the mid-palate with velvety tannins enrobing a center of concentrated black-fruit with juicy freshness. Elegantly balanced, the acidity and core structure deliver a persistent finish with hints of dark chocolate. The 2013 Opus One promises enjoyment for decades to come.

Pie del Monaco from the Tagaro vineyard is a dry red wine produced in Italy from the Primitivo grape. The fruits used to produce this wine come from the Itria valley, known and appreciated for its terroir. On average, the grape harvest is halved to achieve full concentration and produce the best wines with a perfect balance each year. The maturing process takes 12 months and takes place in French oak barrels. Then the wine is stored in bottles for another 3 months.

The wine has a ruby ​​color with navy blue reflections. It is incredibly concentrated in the nose. The aromas of ripe forest fruit, plum in chocolate and fig jam predominate. There are also notes of balsamic and spicy spices in the background. The taste is full, with the aftertaste of blueberries and other dark fruits, with a harmoniously blended barrel that adds nuances of sweet spices, chocolate, caramel and vanilla. The finish is long and silky. The wine goes perfectly with intense, hard cheeses, game dishes and grilled red meats.

A characteristic, distinctive wine from a cool mountain climate is distinguished by good concentration, balanced acidity, generous dark berries framed by mineral tones. Elegance and sophistication are reflected in the expressive aroma of red berries and dried fruits, fresh, rounded taste with structured tannins and delicate sweetness in a long aftertaste.

The grapes are separated from the ridges and cold maceration is carried out. Fermentation begins spontaneously under the influence of wild yeast. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperature with regular remontage in the second stage of fermentation. Upon completion of the maceration, the wine is placed in oak barrels for aging for 12 months.

The Brunello di Montalcino of the historic and famous Biondi Santi company is born within the Greppo Estate, known for the excellence of the Sienese family. Symbol of Italian enology, this wine is made with only Sangiovese Grosso grapes, meticulously selected and harvested by hand.

Alfred Tesseron is currently producing astonishing wines that are easily of Super-Second Growth quality. This is one of the great wines of 2006. The work he has done in the vineyards, using organic and in some cases biodynamic methods, has clearly paid off in this tricky year. The wine has a spicy, brambly fruit nose followed by a tight-knit palate packed full of blackcurrant and raspberry fruit with cedar and coffee hints. The wine’s focus, purity and minerality acts as a perfect counterpoint to its harmonious richness. This is an utterly complete wine, and a must-buy.

Red ruby color with violet highlights. The nose is complex and elegant. It shows notes of tobacco and white pepper followed by some notes of ripe yellow fruits such as apricot, peach, black fig and quince jam. On the palate, the first impression is driven by mentholated hints. A very balanced character between acidity and the dense silkiness of the tannins impacts on the elegant finish of this Grand Cru.

Bella Vista is home to our winery; it is open and spacious and is the reflection of the immensity of the Mendoza River. It is distinguished by its soothing features and finely meshed texture. It is elegant and aromatic with an endless finish and a juicy acidity that stands out. Bella Vista is a lady dressed in silk.

Flaccianello combines all the wild and old-world characteristics of the Sangiovese grape with the modern vinification techniques of what may be the top winemaking house in Tuscany today. The vineyards from which this wine takes its name continues to produce a Sangiovese of superior quality year on year. Made with 100% Sangiovese.

L’Apparita is the first wine 100% Merlot produced in Tuscany. It is a cult wine since its first release 1985. The small parcels forming our single vineyard L’Apparita extend on an area of 3.84 hectares and they are located on top of Bellavista Vineyard. Vines were firstly planted in 1975 with Canaiolo and Malvasia Bianca. They have been replanted between 1982 and 1985 with Merlot, using the clone nr 342. The training system at Open Lyre and the soil particularly rich with clay make this small Cru a jewel of the international wine production.

Tenuta dell’Ornellaia Masseto Merlot is a dry red wine produced in Toscana, Italy. The wine boasts a vibrant, perfectly balanced and rounded taste, featuring notes of fruit, minerals, espresso, chocolate with spices and licorice. The finish is long and satisfying. The aroma is elegant and complex, with an air of sophistication. This exquisite wine makes an excellent accompaniment for meat and pasta dishes.

Nicolas Catena Zapata has an intense, deep purple color with bluish-black tones. On the nose, aromas of black fruits –blackberries, black cherries, black plums – predominate with subtle notes of vanilla and dark chocolate intermingled with savory hints of green olive and a stony minerality. On the palate, the wine is tremendously complex, unfolding layer upon layer of red currant, eucalyptus, and black pepper flavors . Black cherries and blackberries give way to cassis followed by a hint of saline minerality. The wine is remarkably concentrated with a firm tannic structure providing the backbone for the lush fruit. The finish is long, a foretoken of the long aging potential of this Argentine masterpiece.

Intense, concentrated and deep ruby-colored, this wine offers elegant, complex aromas of red fruit. In the mouth it is rich and dense, yet harmonious, with sweet, balanced tannins. The wine has a long finish with a depth and structure that ensure its extraordinary longevity.

A deep ruby red in color, the wine was also endowed with expressive varietal aromas and sweet notes of red berry fruit and spices. The long, cool growing season was perceptible in the full ripeness of flavor, the ample and supple structure, and the elegance and admirable balance. The sustained finish and aftertaste echoed the fragrance first felt on the nose.

The 2012 growing season was characterised by an abundance of sunny, dry weather; some rain did fall as well, but it occurred in just the right periods, before the harvest, and helped the vines to cope with the hot, dry conditions. The result was an even, consistent ripening process that in the end yielded generous, full-volumed wines that are remarkably appealing and seductive, with an overall character that we like to define with the word Incanto (‘Enchantment’). Ornellaia 2012 appears a deep ruby, and a remarkably beguiling bouquet boasts rich fruit and spices notes. The palate shows well rounded,full, and generous, with glossy tannins and a complete absence of any roughness. The 2012 lacks none of theproverbial concentration that distinguishes Ornellaia’s great vintages, but this vintage adroitly masks that richness behindan expansive, magisterial structure, then concludes with a near-endless finish.

Excellent structure and mouthfeel. A cooler style of Ornellaia, bringing it back to the classicism of this celebrated region. Bordeaux blend. Better in 2018.”

Intensely ruby red in color with purple highlights, the 2013 Tignanello shows an intense nose of ripe red fruit in addition to notes of vanilla, chocolate, and leather imparted from the oak. Spicy and balsamic sensations give additional complexity in the layers of aromatics. The wine is ample and enveloping on the palate with supple tannins and a savory freshness that fully respects the character and personality of the Sangiovese grape. The balance between acidity and tannins is excellent and the finish and aftertaste are of a lovely length and persistence.

Full body, soft and velvety tannins, and a persistent, fabulous finish. The mouthfeel is magic. 80% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink or hold.”

The Billecart family has been living in Mareuil-sur-Ay since the 16th century. When Nicolas Francois Billecart married Elisabeth Salmon in the early 1800s the two families’ long held vineyards were married as well. This led to Nicolas’ decision to leave his law practice and take over the family wine estate. In 1818 he founded the house of Billecart-Salmon which now stands as the oldest continuously family owned and operated house in Champagne.

Appearance: Its pale and bright pink colour is adorned with warm glints of gold and its delicate slowly rising bubbles give it a persistent mousse. Aroma: This cuvée unveils a subtle aroma leading to an elegant, delicate bouquet of fine notes of red fruits and zest of citrus fruits. Palate: Its special method of vinification gives this cuvée a light, elegant flavour, followed by a fresh finish with a taste of raspberry.

This rosé champagne is an ideal partner as an aperitif and can also accompany a dish of wild salmon or sushi. For dessert, it will add a sublime touch to red fruit flavours.

Since its foundation in the early 90s, Fattoria La Fiorita has always sought to perfect the taste, longevity and aromatic complexity of its Brunello offerings. Guidalberto is a wine with great structure and balance, with good aging potential. A wine that touches peaks of excellence as the hands that create it are the same as his brother’s famous Sassicaia. The grape of Cabernet Sauvignon and in stony lands unexplored oenologically of Tuscany, which closely resemble those of Graves in Bordeaux, were considered exotic at the timeof their plant, in the ’20s, as well as experimenting with new methods of vinification and maturation. Only in the years to follow, the world became aware of how the “madness” had given birth to one of the largest companies and authentic Italian wine scene, leading to the production of great wines such as Sassicaia and this excellent Guidalberto.
