Nose: Perfumed violets and black currant, plum skin, Dutch cacao and rosemary. Palate: Medium to full bodied with sweet ripe fruits of mulberry, plums and currants. The structure is fine with grapey soft tannins providing great length and intensity of flavour balanced by a subtle mix of roasted spices.

Pairs well with American style slow cooked and smoked beef ribs with coleslaw and pickled vegetables.

This native of Bordeaux, France is elegant by nature, featuring smooth tannins and expressing freshness and sweetness. Intensely ruby red in color with purple highlights, the 2013 Tignanello shows an intense nose of ripe red fruit in additionto notes of vanilla, chocolate, and leather imparted from the oak. Spicy and balsamic sensations give additional complexity in the layers of aromatics. The wine is ample and enveloping on the palate with supple tannins and a savory freshness that fullyrespects the character and personality of the Sangiovese grape. The balance between acidity and tannins is excellent and thefinish and aftertaste are of a lovely length and persistence.

Santa Ema’s founding Pavone family trace their history in Chile back to 1917 when they first came to the region as grape farmers. Nearly 100 years and three generations of hands-on experience gives Santa Ema a deep understanding of the Maipo Valley’s unique terroir, and helps create some of the most irresistible wines in Chile.

Deep violet to ruby-red in colour, this Cabernet Sauvignon is elegant, sophisticated, and complex with fruity notes that blend cherries, prunes, tobacco, and roasted coffee. Santa Ema Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is well-rounded and very well structured with ripe tannins and plenty of texture. It has a long finish.

The 2014 vintage was the most challenging in memory, but has nevertheless enabled us to produce high quality wines that give immense pleasure. The late ripening of the grapes have made it possible to express the crispness and freshness of the fruit to best effect. What is striking is the high quality of the tannins on the palate: silky, refined and without any sharp edges, albeit with a lower density than in hotter vintages. Le Volte dell’Ornellaia is a balanced, harmonious and very drinkable wine thanks in particular to the beautiful Merlots of 2014.

This wine reflects the up & coming Shiraz vineyards of the Barossa, rather than the battle hardened old vines which make up the core of our other cuvee’s.

Full of deep, dark berry fruit, the 2015 vintage is sensational array of opulent rich fruit with a wonderful freshness and balance. A dark deep, central core of fruit gives way to an intense textural mid palate full of mocha, plum, spice and dark chocolate.

Whilst offering immense pleasure in its youth the 2015 Woodcutter’s Shiraz will certainly develop into an impressive wine with a few years in the cellar. Another fantastic introduction to the Torbreck range.

Villa Antinori Classic, an intense ruby red color, features an equally intense nose of red fruit, raspberries and blueberries, followed by hints of oak and spices, particularly cloves, on the aromatic finish. On the palate, the wine is immediately vibrant and very territorial in character. The tannins are supple but well present. The finish and aftertaste are fruity and the light notes of oak long and lingering.

Dom Pérignon (1638–1715) was a monk and cellar master at the Benedictine abbey in Hautvillers. He pioneered a number of winemaking techniques around 1670—being the first to blend grapes in such a way as to improve the quality of wines, balance one element with another in order to make a better whole, and deal with a number of their imperfections; perfecting the art of producing clear white wines from black grapes by clever manipulation of the presses.

Dom Perignon has an intense, full and radiant bouquet with notes of honeysuckle, orange coloured fruits and hints of iodine sensations. The creamy chewiness characterizing the vintage is channelled in a direction that is edgy yet embracing with a wave of aromatic persistence. Smoky, biting and full energy finish balances it all out.

The Laurent-Perrier Group is now the fourth largest of all the Champagne houses, founded in 1812. Altough is most famous for its rosé, which comes beautifully packaged in a 16th century-style bottle, the best seller is the elegant NV Brut “La Cuvée “.

Pale gold in colour. Fine bubbles feed a persistent mousse. A delicate nose with hints of fresh citrus and white flowers. LOUIS ROEDERER BRUT PREMIER

After the upheavals of the early 1900s, particularly the First World War that destroyed more than half of the Louis Roederer estate, Léon Olry Roederer reconstructed the vineyards. He decided to buy grapes to ensure the continuity of the House during this difficult period and, at the same time, created a multi-vintage wine that would have a consistent flavour, whatever the harvest year. It is now called Brut Premier.

Striking a perfect balance between youthfulness and maturity, seduction and character, freshness and vinosity, Brut Premier is a champagne that is harmonious and structured, elegant and lively, with a unique exuberance. Its structured texture, richness, and length are distinctly winey. It is a full, complex wine that is both rich and powerful, whilst remaining a great classic.

LOUIS ROEDERER CRISTAL BRUT

Cristal is a remarkably balanced and refined champagne whose length is inimitable. The wine shows a superb, golden yellow color with a beautiful luminosity and a fine and persistent mousse. The nose is clean and intense with warm, rich notes of brioche, French toast and roasted almonds. On the palate the wine is very supple and harmonious, with notes of honey and minerals on the long, sustained finish. Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is produced from a blend of 100% premiers crus Chardonnay grapes from the best of recent vintages. Grapes from the estate vineyards in Sillery and Brimont (ancestral home of the Ruinart family) are joined by carefully selected grapes from other premiers crus vineyards in the Côte de Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.
